The Tape Ministry is a manifestation of God's commitment, made in love, to reach lost souls everywhere! There are countless stories demonstrating that the process of preserving and trustfully sharing God's Word is exactly what happens with many of the cassettes and CDs produced by churches around the world. The tapes and CDs are passed along to people, who eventually feel a tug to listen and who then finds it urgently necessary to begin (or deepen) a close relationship with Jesus as Lord and personal Savior.
The more available we make the Word, the more likely people will hear it during a window of receptivity! Tape Ministies matter more than we sometimes realize. Every tape and CD offers powerful opportunities to do our part in God's plan of redemtion. As we are reminded in Romans 10:9 ". . . That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." With each tape we share, we affirm our heart's belief that Jesus is Lord. And, with that cassette, we reach out in His name to other hearts.
It takes volunteers to make the Tape Ministry work! Before the service. After the service. During special events. 15 minutes before a service. An hour after a service. Commitments vary depending on your church's particular needs. It doen't necessarily require any particular knowledge or special skills. But a desire to serve the Lord is a must.
