I have been around electronics, mainly computers and sound systems, for many years. I have seen all manner of destruction to these systems: speaker clusters that have broken loose from the rafters and crashed to the ground, amplifiers that blew out a power supply, critters living in the warm spaces of amp racks, etc. And all manor of other common problems and mishaps with A/V equipment. But nothing compares to the destruction that Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma has wrought upon the local church.

Welcome to ChurchTechHead.com - A Gathering Place for Church Tech Team Members. CTH is a place where church teach team volunteers and staff members can gather and ask for help on tech issues, spiritual issues, discuss new gear, and a whole host of other topics. These topics will grow or contract as needs dictate. The tech issues can vary from how to adjust input gain on a front of house mixer to what system is best suited for church website to how to deal with a bad situation involving other tech volunteers. We will also be posting reviews of all manner of church tech equipment, such as video projectors for IMAG, front of house consoles, presentation software, video editing systems and much much more. Some of the reviews will be from posters here at CTH and from nationally known reviewers.
